The Holiday Cottage Loriot
is a small detached house by the village border of Xiro Horio. On 35 sqm floor space it provides accommodation for 3 persons.

From the veranda one can enjoy most beautiful views of the bay of Rethymnon and the Aegean Sea.
Xiro Horio
is a tiny village above the bay of  Rethymnon on the island of Crete, marking the lower entrance to the Myli gorge.
In these quiet surroundings, the local kafenion is the village's only business enterprise. There is also a church, of course.
The nearest shops, restaurants, and bars are in the 3 kms distant hotel suburbs of Rethymnon town.

Iraklion airport is 91 kms away, Hania airport 76 kms. With respect to the winding character of Cretan roads, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
